The property has rotten wooden single glazed window frames, an unsafe wired fuse box, the alleyway behind the property is blocked with fly tipping. All of this has been reported to the letting agent/landlord and has been ignored. Third bedroom does not have a plug socket.
Despite this, the rent for the property has increased from £540 p/m to £635 p/m over the past 14 months and has just been put on the market at £695 p/m.
The area itself has declined dramatically over the past few years in terms of cleanliness and anti social behaviour/crime. Car insurance is expensive in this area and you require a residents parking permit (£25 per year) to park on the street outside your house.
