1. Double bedroom at 30 Anchor Crescent

By Callum - stayed here from 1st June 2017 to 31st March 2018

I spent a bit less than 10 months a 30 anchor crescent and I only have positive things to say about the house nd land lord Martin (who lives there). The location is great as it is a 2min walk from a bus station which will take you to the town centre in 10-15min. A Tesco superstore is located some 15-20min walk away.
The house is great and feels very homely. There are many nice additions by Martin such as a Foosball table, projector, soup maker etc...
The room itself is spacious, nice and has a nice view overlooking the canal.

Martin has been an excellent landlord, always keen to make my stay enjoyable and taking care of any issues with the house in a very timely manner.

Living with him has also been very pleasant and it was always nice to have a chat and a laugh with him.

I would highly recommend Martin and the house.

2. Home!!!

By TC - stayed here from 17th February 2011 to 17th February 2014

This houseshare felt like home almost instantly.

House was clean, bright, airy with all the esentials for modern living plus a few luxuries. The bus stop for the 101 into Birmingham City Centre is only a minute walk away and the canal is a scenic view behind the house.

There is a good sized park attached to the community and overall this house and area could not be more perfect for a professional or grad student who wants to live well and save some £.

Flatmates especially Martin the live-in landlord was warm and welcoming. He was very professional in his approach as a landlord yet being a mate at the same time.

We quickly became a 'family' of sorts and I only left this household because I migrated.

3. Great rental

By nick1974 - stayed here from 1st February 2008 to 1st August 2012

I stayed at this house for four years.

Considerate landlord, affordable, clean, good vibe, sky TV, good communal area.

Location great for cyclists - 10 mins to city centre via the canal.

Good all round choice for a long stay.

4. Great value house share

By griffen - stayed here from 11th February 2007 to 21st September 2007

Great value house share and facilities. Landlord was incredibly welcoming and flexible with arrangements (had relocated to Birmingham). House comes with a garden which was perfect for summer and had some space in the garage to store some of my things. Location is handy as it's just a 10 minute bus ride into the city centre with the bus stop a couple of minutes walk from the house. Would absolutely recommend this house share.
